1. If you are using a capacitive LCD screen, it is suggested that when you use it for the first time, you should first correctly install the driver required by the capacitive LCD screen according to the requirements of the manual, and then click Start/Program /“Microtouch Touchware on the screen with your fingers to run the screen calibration program. After the calibration is completed, the system will automatically store the calibrated data in the register of the controller, and it is not necessary to calibrate the screen after restarting the system in the future.
2. When using a resistive LCD screen, if you find that the cursor does not move or can only move in a local area, you can check whether the touch area of the LCD screen is pressed by other touching objects. For example, once the LCD screen is pressed by the display casing or cabinet casing, it means that a certain point has been touched all the time, so the coordinate position fed back to the controller is inaccurate, and of course the cursor cannot be positioned correctly. If the cabinet shell presses the touch area, you can adjust the distance between the cabinet and the display screen a little. If the display shell presses the touch area, you can try to loosen the screws of the display shell a little.
3. In order to ensure the normal operation of the LCD system, in addition to ensuring the correct installation of the system software, you must also remember not to install two or more LCD drivers on a host computer, which will easily lead to conflicts during system operation, thus making the LCD system unable to be used normally.
4. If the display resolution or display mode of the LCD screen is changed again during the operation of the capacitive LCD screen, or the refresh frequency of the LCD screen controller is adjusted by itself, and it is felt that the cursor cannot correspond to the touch point, the LCD screen system must be calibrated again.
5. Once the system changes the display resolution, adjusts the screen size and is installed for the first time, it will be inaccurate to click or drift, so you need to start the positioning program that comes with the application to reposition. However, when positioning, it is best to use a thin pen or fingertip to position, which is more accurate.
6. If you touch the surface acoustic wave LCD screen with your hands or other touching objects, the LCD screen is slow to respond, which means that it is likely that the LCD screen system is obsolete, the internal clock frequency is too low, or there are water droplets moving on the LCD screen surface. In order to make the LCD screen respond quickly, you must replace or upgrade the system, or dry the water droplets on the LCD screen surface with a rag.
7. Don't let water drops or other soft things stick to the surface of the LCD screen, otherwise it is easy for the LCD screen to mistakenly think that the surface acoustic screen is not allowed due to hand touch.
